Neocyte. • 10 mo. ago. There are no "must do's" while leveling. I think the best way to level your first character is to treat the game like Skyrim: explore new areas, and try out different traits and utility skills. This isn't like other games where leveling is fetch-quest after fetch-quest to get to endgame.
In this case please put the time in to watch guides and really read your skill descriptions. After the inception the boost we have a large quantity of players that never learn the game due to information overload. Guild wars 2 is a multifaceted game that is hard to learn if you do not ingest information at a natural leveling pace.
While level 80 might look a long way away at 25, leveling in GW2 is linear in that each level (past 15) takes roughly as long as any other, so 79 to 80 isn't longer than 25 to 26. This leads to food (and equipment) getting outleveled fairly regularly and makes investing in larger stacks of dishes for the food value alone not very useful.
Start playing at max level right now. — In-game description. Retrieved from "https: About Guild Wars 2 Wiki; Disclaimers; Mobile view
Guild Wars 2 often hands out level 80 boosts. These will boost any character immediately to the level cap. Players often wonder, what should I do with this max-level boost? Use it now, or save it for later? Counter-intuitive opinion based on years of experience playing GW2: You should delete it. Why Not Use It on Your First Character?
Just don't boost your first character. Mounts in End of Dragons
GW2 expansions/Max level boost. DO NOT BUY FROM CDKEYS OR G2A. Tons of keys on there were originally purchased with stolen credit cards. You are likely to get banned if you buy a key from them. You get one max level boost from HoT, plus one from PoF. It doesn't matter if you buy them separately or as a bundle.
The PoF guild hall opens into the final area, so I wouldn't advise using one of those as a shortcut (for a long time at least). As to the boost, absolutely use it if you feel very confident this is a character you won't want to delete. You can't ever change their race or gender or get the boost back, and it costs to change name or look.
As a bonus, if you purchase any of the post-EoD expansions, there's a free level 80 boost waiting for you in gemstore! (available 1 time per account) or not even "post-EoD", throw a single "1 time per account" level 80 boost at everyone, no matter which expasnion you've got. I don't know how much anet cares about that part of gemstore.
@AyeJ.6853 said:I've recently purchased the two expansions and with the 2 free level 80 boosts, I was wondering which professions I should use them on.. I would like to use it on a profession that is either a pain to level but isn't too complex that once I use the boost, I would be overwhelmed by the learning curveor just a profession that is easy to pick up and can enjoy HoT and PoF with.
