Outfits are themed skins that changes your whole armor appearance in one go. They can be changed and triggered but do not impact the real appearance of your armor, it overrides it. I can't find anything on the wiki about height for the races, save the asura (which originally said 4 feet tall, now it's "two feet ten inches and three feet eleven inches tall" in a recent edit), charr, and norn. The wiki says charr "stand on their hind legs and are taller than a human by half of beta slots can be used to make a beta character (guardian, necro, or mesmer). progress on them doesn't affect your main account (the normal character slots). beta characters will be deleted after the week of the beta. The three beta slots are a copy of your account. Anything you do on this slots or earn or loot will not be saved in any way. Also interesting: Norn and Human females have a small height overlap, so the largest human is actually bigger then the smallest Norn. Norn males, on the other hand, are always (very slightly) taller than Human males. THANKS! This is outdated. Charrs are always larger than humans. The only difference I know of, is the fact that skills used by asura appear smaller then they really are. That means that an asuran ele that breathes fire would hit you, even if you would stand just outside of the fire effect. This should, however, only make a difference in PvP and WvW.
